The Scent Imprinting Tube is a training tool designed to help dogs develop and sharpen their scent detection skills.
To use the tool, the scent is placed underneath the grid, and the dog is allowed to sniff it. As the dog reaches into the tube to smell the scent, a reward can be given through the back hole of the tube to establish an association between the detection of the scent and the reward. This tool is intuitive and easy to use, making it perfect for new trainers and dogs, as well as experienced trainers and dogs who are looking to learn a new scent and improve their scent detection skills.
The Scent Imprinting Tube is available as a single unit or in a kit of three. Each unit comes with a modular base that can be expanded by attaching additional bases in a variety of orientations, allowing for flexibility in training set up. The design allows for a wide range of configurations to suit your training needs.
The 2-piece kit comes with one spacer and the 3-piece kit with two spacer bases, to allow for further flexibility.
The product comes in two sizes:
Small 90mm/3.5in Diameter tube- Recommended for small dogs
Large - 110mm/4.3in Diameter tube - Recommended for medium to large dogs
A hiding tin or vessel is not included and can be purchased separately.
